So, my Discs of Fury mix finally went out--three days late (the theme was "caffeine"). This just really wasn't a good time for me to be on deadlines. Hopefully next time will be better. If you're on my swap list, don't click the more link--everyone else can find a track listing there.
With a theme like "caffeine", I decided I could go one of two ways, either music that feels "caffeinated", or music that's meant to relax you (like, you've-had-too-much-of). And I didn't really know what to do with either, until Kate came up with an amazing idea: coffeehouse music. She said, "Just make a disc of stuff you'd expect to hear at a coffee house. Like, relaxing, obscure stuff. Stuff that has never been on the Billboard Hot 100."
And so, I present to you: Music you'd most likely hear at an espresso bar
