I'm honestly not trying to be a pro-war smart ass, so give me the benefit of the doubt, here, but where the hell did all this military force come from?
Seriously, if anyone can explain away my ignorance, please do so in the comments.
If they've been, as they claim, so horribly deprived because of sanctions, where'd the money come from to pay for all this shit? If the UN inspectors claimed they didn't have any weapons of mass destruction, where are these Iraqi missiles coming from? Most importantly, if the American military was surprised by the strength of the Iraqi resistance, and they were supposedly overestimating the threat posed by Iraq, then what does France et al. have to say about it? I was never totally pro-war, nor anti-war, but I was always a little more peacenik than not. I'm sitting at center now, and starting to lean more the other way.
