I've gotten several phone calls from a couple people today, and maybe I'm just being old fashioned here, but this is starting to bug the hell out of me...
When you call me on the phone, tell me who you are, and state your purpose. Granted, due to caller ID, I probably already have a good idea of who you are before I answer, but for the love of God, you must have a reason you called me, and I shouldn't have to beat it out of you.
