There are a lot of people who've never used text-based browsers. In fact, I'd venture to guess that there are a lot of web developers who design with text-based browsers in mind, but haven't ever used one. I'm posting now with Links, and generally use lynx to download tarballs when needed. To be truthful, most pages are much more useable this way (except my blog designs). :) There's a lot to be said for keeping usability in mind.
In this respect, I'm givin' mad props to Ben. MT looks gorgeous, although rebuilding isn't possible.

I wanted so badly
somebody other than me
staring back at me
but you were gone.
I wanted to see you
walking backwards
to get the sensation
of you coming home.
I wanted to see you
walking away from me
without the sensation you're leaving me alone.

My sister is getting married soon (Ah, shit. Note to self: You forgot to get measured for tux.), and I haven't seen her dress yet, but that "What Not To Wear" book is getting a lot of attention, so maybe she should take a look at uglyweddingdress.com. I'm certainly not the browse-at-wedding-dresses type, but that's an excellent writer.

Comments:
"Well, I still don't know what I'm wearing for the wedding...I may be THE only person who doesn't know what they're wearing yet!!! Maybe I'll wear a tux, too!? If you read the synopsis for the book, "40 Over 40" you'll find the author is from North Dakota! Surprise!!"

So quite some time ago, I got an email from Lauren Gelman from Stanford Law saying I was signed up for their newsletter. I don't remember doing so, but it does seem interesting nonetheless. Whoever she is, she apparently has a blog now, and I'm looking forward to seeing what she does with it. It's good to see competent lawyers getting involved in internet issues like privacy, IP, etc...

How much do you suppose Dubya's campaign is costing you, individually?
A hundred dollars? Two hundred?
Or, almost six hundred dollars each, for every man, woman, and child in America. Money well spent.
