It's been a while since I've looked at this graph, but it never fails to make me happy.
Note: My home BSD box runs apache, as does my managed host.

Missy alerted me to the trend of women selling themselves on eBay as imaginary girlfriends, and upon an eBay search, this turned into a a MeFi post, which turned into the idea of Dave and I bidding on one. I can see the letters now: "Dear Service Center Staff..."

"We decided not to get her. Several of her feedback entries said she responded to auction email, but then nothing happened. =(
Maybe some other day."

Kenickie got a new box tonight. The weeny mid-tower factory case is replaced with an 8-bay full-tower case w/ a 450 watt power supply (which sounds like a B17). Pictures to come, I'm sure.

I'm definitely going to start viewing my living space as a user interface, too.

My lockpicking kit showed up yesterday. So far I've been able to pick all the locks I've tried (including my and Ryan's front doors) except one. Beats the hell out of crossword puzzles.

Comments:
"I'm jealous. It beats my method of throwing a dodge ball at the window until they open the door. Yeah."

"Hey! I like crossword puzzles! Of course, you picking locks is really cute."

I finally have my Unix box up and running again after a stint using Windows (which was required for the drivers for my now-trashed cell modem). Current config is FreeBSD 5.1 w/ Apache 2.
This is my first forray into *BSD, and so far all is going well. Even though I built most everything from source before _joshua in #joiito told me about ports. Ah, live an' learn, right? I did learn an awful lot doing it this way, so it's not all bad. I do owe him a great deal for his help installing Evolution, though.
