I moved, the cam broke for a while, I moved again, and I'm lazy. Can you think of a better recipe for lack of updates? Anyhoo, this is my bed in my dorm room in a HIGH RISE at NDSU. More to come...
My mom's first appearance on the KroCam comes the day before I take off for college. (Yup, I'm moving out. Notice the lack of a Dave poster behind me.)
I thought the marketing was pure genius, which made up for the lack of quality in the filmmaking. A fine picture, anyway. Link.
I just got done watching "Wayne's World" and now I'm having a very "Austin Powers" moment. (Notice the can of 'Tab'.) **wink**
Awww... Look who got a brand SPANKIN' new site design!
I got new glasses today. Also, updates should be picking up as my MCSE classes end on the 18th. I move to Fargo for college on the 21st.
Dad and I are driving back to Copperas Cove from San Antonio where we went to a Promise Keepers convention. Also, yesterday was the one year mark for the KroCam. I was going to update it then, but the fam went to the beach instead. =)

This is a picture of Jeff's Lava Lamp. It wasn't quite warm yet, but was getting there. Just kinda looked odd.
As many of you know I'm training to be a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Kind of fun tho, I play Doom across the network with some of my classmates a lot. Oh, speaking of classmates, one wrote some nifty programs. Download the setup file, then send him a dollar.

After you send an application to a university, they send two different kinds of envelopes: big and small. One size holds letters of rejection, my size held a letter saying this: "Based on your fine record of achievement in high school and upon the recommendation of our Admission Committee, I am pleased to be able to offer you admission With Distinction to the University's Computer Science Program...."
I'm watching "Just Shoot Me" on NBC. What a fine television show.
I'm watching the Spurs lose on national television. They simply didn't play good basketball; the Knicks walked all over 'em. Next game'll be better.
So, you wanna' start a cam site, huh? Well, if I may suggest, avoid any digital camera by the Connectix company (now owned by Logitech) like the plague!
New poster. Dave Matthews.
I'm back. It's summer. I'm bored out of my mind. I'm not doing anything with my life that could be considered productive. Ahhhhhhhh...
This is the HTML document that I use for my desktop. If you have IE 4.0+ with all the bells and whistles installed, unzip this into your C:\WINDOWS\WEB\Wallpaper\ directory. Then right-click anywhere on your desktop and choose "properties". Then choose "y2k.html" from the list. If you get an error message about enabling Active Desktop, click "Yes". Ta-Da!
I'm just playing with an old hard drive that I've ripped apart from an old Macintosh. Hey, I proclaim that today is Nat'l "Say 'Hi' to Jenny and JoNall" day! Hi, Jenny. Hi, Nell.
Alrighty, I'm back online. Sorry about that li'l pause there, but we just got new internet service.
Well, we're moving this weekend, and this is what I'm reduced down to. Notice that although all my stuff is packed, the absolutely last thing to go out of service are my computers. Me? Addict? No...
Okay, I want some feedback on this hat. Email your opinion here, k?
This is a graduation present I got from Greg, a friend of the family. He made this. By hand. The tassel is string and the bottom is posterboard, while the top is the wrapped gift. Creative, huh?
Well. It's pretty good; here's my brief review: The kid who plays Anakin (Jake Lloyd) is a bad actor, Darth Maul (Ray Park) is da' man, and Queen Amidala (Natalie Portman) is HOT.
My friend Jennifer painted this beetle on a rock for me. Ain't she talented?
Hey, look. There's a cam over there. Humph.
My apologies to Minnie Driver for not saying hi to her yesterday. Luv ya', Minnie!
Okay, today is a day reserved for a few shout outs. Hi to Jenny, Sharla, Kristen, Meghan, Aimee, Andrea, Jenny, Rebekah, Jeff, Deanna, and Monica Lewinsky. If you're not listed here, that might mean you haven't emailed me for a long time and you're not on the top of my memory banks. Please don't be offended.
And another special Mom's Day wish to Sandy! You're a couple of pretty cool Moms. =)
Jen was showing off her desk, so I had to one-up her with my disaster. =)
Well, got the Pre-Calc figured out. Also, remember when I gave blood? They did a cholesterol test on my blood and... 149. (That's really good.)
I'm having some trouble with my Pre-Calc at the moment. We're working on polar graphs and stuff. That's where we graph real numbers (numbers that exist) on the same graph with imaginary numbers (numbers that don't exist). Sound confusing? Yup, it is.
Just pretend like I've written something interesting here. Feel free to laugh a bit, if you wish, k?
Went to the track tonight. Nope, didn't do any betting, but it was a good time all the same. Aside from that, God bless Rev. Jesse Jackson!
I gave blood today. =) (Jenny! Tomorrow is the first day of May. You in???)
My friend Sharla gave this monkey to me shortly before I moved here. I thought it would look cool inside this neat White Sox jacket I had. Ain't this thing cool?
I went Hawaiian today.
I got this new shirt yesterday. Your thoughts?
Um, I'd like to take this opportunity to retract all the bad things I've said about Microsoft in the past. However, I still think that the Windows OS is an inferior operating system...
Nothing to report, really. I just ate some Little Ceaser's pizza, so I'm pretty content. Still a bit bothered by the whole Littleton shooting, but other than that, I'm fine.
Not bad, huh? I got this Visual J++ book for $5! It includes a compiler and all sorts of other goodies. Yup, I'm gonna' learn Java, folks. I promise, however, that I won't go JavaCrazy and throw a bunch of worthless applets up just 'cause I wrote 'em, k? =)
Had a better day today. Right now I'm listening to NOFX: Punk In Drublic. A fine punk album.
Had a bit of a rough day today, but hopefully tomorrow will be better. How you guys doin? Drop me a note at travis@kroh.net if you wish.
I'm listening to Green Day: Kerplunk. Have you heard it? No??? And you call yourself a Green Day fan. Puh.
Alrighty, a double product plug: First, my Sony Diskman. Sony makes the best CD players known to man. Second, the Rayvac Renewal batteries that power this bad-boy are alkaline rechargables, good for over a hundred recharges!
Thanks to all my friends who watched my national televison premiere on GMA. A special thanks to Jenny for the nifty bit of email! :-)
Well, this is me on "Good Morning America" this morning. To my right is Jenni from www.jennicam.org and some other guy. More pics here and here.
Hey, this is Gina Smith, the technology correspondent for ABC News. I was interviewed today and I'll be on "Good Morning America" Friday morning!
No, Jen, I'm not stealing this, too, from you. I just like Dr. Pepper.
Just a regular night. Nothing too terribly special. Oh, hopefully soon I'll be getting my own domain. Ain't that cool?
I'm all smiles. And there's a specific reason for it. More later on my good news. 'Til then, sign up for KroCam email!
I took this pic earlier today. What would the world be like without Post-It notes???
