I've been blogging for 6-9 months. I don't own a domain, but I have my own web address. I use Blogger, BigBlogTool, upsaid or other similar service to update a site on my own web host. I link only to sites I like to read (and sites that I have time to read) on a regular basis. I usually check my stats about once a day but I don't keep any records or running tallies. I link to all the standard A-list blogs (Megnut, Kottke, Robot Wisdom, etc.), as well as a few other blog visionaries that the commonfolk haven't discovered yet. I post at least once a day. I can't remember the last day I haven't blogged. I blog from either home or work, but only after my work is done and when I get some free time. I blog some original material with the occasional web link with accompanying personal commentary about the link. Some people like to get it on with other bloggers, but for me, the last thing I need is to get sexually involved with one of these neurotic blogging pinheads. I haven't posted, and don't plan on posting, any photos of myself on my blog. I've taken a few surveys or participated in a few memes, but there seem to be so many of them I have to pick and choose. Only a few people I know outside of blog circles knows about my blog.
