the blogger decoder

I've been blogging for 1-1.5 years. I own 2 or more domains, but only one is updated regularly. I just bought the other domain(s) because I made up a cool name. I use Blogger, BigBlogTool, upsaid or other similar service to update a site on my own web host. I link only to sites I like to read (and sites that I have time to read) on a regular basis. I check my stats occasionally, mostly to discover new blogs that are linking to mine. I don't link to any of the A-list blogs (Megnut, Kottke, Robot Wisdom, etc.)... if I ever want to visit their site, I'll just follow a link from someone else's blog. I don't post that frequently. In fact, I'm lucky if I manage to post 2 or 3 new entries a week. The blog isn't the first thing I think of when something happens, but I usually remember to blog the interesting things... eventually. I blog mostly links to other web articles and other blogs. Some people like to get it on with other bloggers, but for me, the last thing I need is to get sexually involved with one of these neurotic blogging pinheads. I have posted at least a photo of my face on my blog, but not much more. Memes and web surveys are, for the most part, pretty stupid, so I don't really participate. Friends know about my blog, but I generally don't talk about it with some groups (ie: family and/or co-workers) because they probably wouldn't get the whole blogging concept.
