I've been blogging for over 3 years. I don't own a domain, but I have my own web address. I use Blogger, BigBlogTool, upsaid or other similar service to update a site on my own web host. I have so many links I couldn't possibly read them all on a regular basis and/or I nearly always add a link to a site that has linked to mine. I check my stats occasionally, mostly to discover new blogs that are linking to mine. I link to the standard A-list blogs (Megnut, Kottke, Robot Wisdom, etc.), because I enjoy reading their sites regularly. I try to post once a day, but it doesn't always happen, and that's no big deal. When I plan something I know will be blog-worthy, I have my laptop or PDA with me so I can blog wirelessly as it's happening. My entries are a mix of some original material, some web links, and links and comments about other blogs. I haven't bedded another blogger yet, but I certainly wouldn't rule it out if the opportunity presented itself. I have posted quite a few photos of myself, but I was fully clothed in them all, thankyouverymuch. I rarely find a meme or web survey I don't enjoy, and I find myself blogging the results to most of them. Nearly all of my offline friends, family members, and co-workers know about my blog, and that's fine.
